Hung out with the band yesterday yeahhhhhhhhh!!!

We only had singers for certain songs though, so we did some crazy shiz. 'Twas awesome. We did not have our synthist or singer, so came over and played violin and synth for us!!! Soooo gooooooodddd. Rock instruments combined with instruments like violin and stuff comes together beautifully.

Basically, we're playing a song that has a lot of solos and random instrumentation in it, but we didn't have our singer so we didn't really have a "map" for the song. So pretty much we improved random bits of the song and made a cool new musical experience! I wish we recorded it. It sounded so nice.
The night before, my guitar teacher taught me how to solo horizontally with pentatonic steps (I already knew vertical) so I was soloing/doing improv all over the bass neck. SO GOOD. So happy.

We play it so crazy though. We basically like, made the song a giant string of solos and choruses and random things.

Thanks !!!!! She also adapted to the other songs and played with us for them too.
I'm really excited for our next gig.
One of our songs has a harmonica solo! gasp!

I'm also starting a huge project on photoshop, but that won't be done for a while so :3
